The Washington Traffic Safety Commission is our state’s designated highway safety office. The website is full of resources, including traffic data, common traffic laws, and links to many other traffic safety organizations.

Collision Reports: If you were involved in a collision that was not investigated by law enforcement, and damage exceeded $1000 or someone was injured, you need to complete a collision report. You can fill it out online at the WSP website. You can also request a copy of a collision report.


WSDOT Logo 1Traveler Information: The Department of Transportation provides updates on road and traffic conditions, along with links to traffic cameras throughout the state.

Car Seats: Choose the right car seat for your child, learn how to properly install it, and find a location near you for a car seat inspection. You can find all that and much more at this site.

 


Distraction

Distracted Driving: This site has collected an abundance of information and educational tools for preventing distracted driving. Since distraction contributes to many crashes, it’s worth checking out.

Distracted Driving: EndDD was started by the parents of Casey Feldman after she was killed by a distracted driver. Much more personal that the distraction.gov site, you’ll find stories along with helpful information.
